Celebrating 60+ years of providing trustworthy and professional legal services. The original firm was started in the 1950s by Robert W. Carr, Christian Powell, Leo Paris and Emery Jacques. The original members continued with the addition of J. Rick Schmidt and Michael Batchik for several years until Michael Batchik was appointed to serve as District Court Judge in the City of Novi. Various members of the firm left to pursue other endeavors leaving Robert W. Carr, J. Rick Schmidt, and Robert G. Isgrigg to carry on as Carr, Schmidt and Isgrigg. Robert W. Carr was appointed to serve as District Court Judge in the 51st District Court, Township of Waterford. Phyllis C. McMillen joined the firm which continued as Schmidt, Isgrigg and McMillen until she succeeded Robert W. Carr as Judge in the 51st District Court, Township of Waterford. Russell C. Anderson and Paul Miller joined the firm, now known as Schmidt, Isgrigg, Anderson & Miller. Shaun B. Isgrigg has joined the firm and J. Rick Schmidt has retired after 40+ years of distinguished service to the legal community. We look forward to effectively and efficiently representing the greater Michigan community.
