BIO: Russell C. Anderson

Lifelong resident of the township of Waterford. Proud son of the late Honorable Robert C. Anderson, Chief Judge of the Oakland County Circuit Court during his tenure and Francile Anderson, who is recognized for her distinguished service in the legal community. It is with great pride that I continue my parent’s amazing legacy in the legal community. I have been honored in my career to represent thousands of individuals with great success throughout the State of Michigan. Every client is my most important client and I look forward to serving you to the best of my ability utilizing my years of experience as a respected trial attorney and advocate.

Graduated from Michigan State University in 1989 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, majoring in Criminal Justice.
Completed studies at the University of Innsbruck, Austria at the Institute on World Legal Problems, instructed by the former Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court, Antonin Scalia on Constitutional Law.

Admitted to the Michigan State Bar November 10, 1993.
Member in Good Standing with the Michigan State Bar continuously from November 10, 1993 to present.
Joined the Law Firm of Schmidt, Isgrigg and McMillen in December of 1993 as an Associate Attorney with a concentration in the area of Criminal Trial, Divorce and Family Law. In January of 1998, I proudly accepted the offer to become a partner in the firm and remain in that capacity presently.
It was a great honor to be sworn in as Magistrate of the 51st Judicial District Court by the Honorable Richard D. Kuhn, Jr. on January 29, 2015. I continue to serve as Magistrate in the Township of Waterford.
